Ron Arad was born and raised in Tel Aviv. He studied at the Jeruzalem Academy of Art amongst others. His carrier led him from Israel to Italy and finally to London where he is currently based.
Besides his studio work that he makes in limited editions, Ron designs for renowned international brands such as Kartell, Vitra, Moroso, Fiam, Driade, Alesi, Capellini, Cassina, WMF, Kenzo and Magis. You can also find his work in the Centre Pompidou in Paris and the MoMa in New York.
Ron designed the distinctive grill of ZEMI Aria. The end result is a hypnotizingly beautiful, hip, elegant and yet extremely functional design object.
